Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork is very tender and easily shreds with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 205°F (96°C) for optimal shredding.

Shred the Pork
Carefully remove the pork from the slow cooker and place it in a large bowl. Using two forks, shred the pork into small pieces, discarding any excess fat. Skim any excess fat from the cooking liquid in the slow cooker, then add about 1 cup of the liquid to the shredded pork to keep it moist.

Combine with BBQ Sauce
Stir in your favorite BBQ sauce to taste, ensuring all the shredded pork is well coated. If you prefer, serve the BBQ sauce on the side.

Serve
Serve the warm pulled pork on slider buns or hamburger buns. Top with coleslaw if desired.
